Abstract :
In this article we deal with the issue of sharing the radio resource between the Femtocell Access Points (FAPs). Even though at macrocell level, resource allocation can be scheduled throughout complex algorithm, the specificity of femtocell requires an distributed auto-configuration mechanism. Given the high number of femtocells that will be deployed in a given area, especially in urban environments, and the lack of central coordinator a priori, channel assignment seems to be really complex. Most of existing works are related to sharing of the spectrum between macrocell and femtocell but do not consider the femtocell´s channel selection issue.
