Abstract :
A computer model of a tapered blood vessel was developed to investigate the effects of arterial stenosis on pulse transmission properties. Significant increases in phase velocity (Cph), characteristic impedance (ZO), and local reflection coefficients (ΓL) were found with increasing severity of the stenosis
