Abstract :
The development of user interfaces is often the most work intensive phase of computer system design, accounting for the majority of cut code. To assist this development, many IDEs (Integrated Development Environments) offer GUI (Graphical User Interface) builders. However, these builders are commonly built within a single computing framework, such as Java, HTML, or Visual Basic. With the emergence of a common currency of interface elements, there is an opportunity to create new tools that encourage GUI reuse across framework boundaries
