  • Abstract
    The lifetime of the nodes of a wireless camera network is often limited to some hours or some days. In this work we analyze the performance of a custom wireless node equipped with an ultra low power imager. We prove that the employment of non-standard video sensors is a key point in the expansion of camera-based WSNs.
