Abstract :
The maximum achievable capacity of co-located antennas using polarization diversity is provided and simulated in this work. The previous thought of six distinguishable electric and magnetic states of polarization is actually extensible, because of the orthogonality property of radiation patterns. The concept gives a clear insight of the limit of using polarization diversity in wireless communications
