Abstract :
This work aims to present the FPGA implementation of a wireless communication system based on Alamouti´s transmit diversity scheme (S.M. Alamouti, 1998), applied to an OFDM system for HDTV transmission (1998), with two transmit and one receive antenna. The Alamouti´s transmit diversity scheme is a space-time block code which is suitable when two transmit antennas and a arbitrary number of receive antennas are employed. In addition, we implemented M-QAM mapper to convert input data bits in symbols. In this system, we use pilot, TPS and auxiliary channel carriers to demodulate the signal received
