Abstract
As one of the most important technologies in the information era, Wireless Sensor Network has been widely used in medical and other various social fields. This paper described the various research applications of ZigBee-based Wireless Sensor Network technology in medical fields. Based on its low-power, low-cost, network flexibility and some other features, we presented the significance, the principle, and the latest research progress of ZigBee applications in the medical field. This paper also proposed the challenges faced in the ZigBee application and presented its development prospect and practical value in the medical field.
