Abstract :
The theoretical analysis of Travelling-Wave (Distributed) Mixing is briefly described. Experimental verification on a 2-section design, comparing theoretical and measured results is presented for the first time. The tradeoffs between circuit variables are briefly explained. It exhibits around 4dB of conversion loss over the signal frequency band from below 2GHz to I0GHz for an I.F. of GHz.
