Abstract
This paper has demonstrated that under certain conditions, supergain impacts MIMO system capacity. Modified capacity formulations have been derived that allow capacity computation when the effect of supergain is limited for practical considerations. Application of the framework to representative examples has quantified the impact of supergain on the achievable MIMO performance
