Abstract :
A novel compensation method of all nonactive power produced by a rectifier supply drive system is described. The proposed method consists in unification of the compensator with the drive system. The proposed control method is applied to the compensation of a controlled rectifier supplied drive with direct current link. The proposed method allows prediction of the distortions before they occur in the supply network
