Abstract :
This paper presents experimental results that validate our previously proposed estimation method. This method theoretically estimates the specific absorption rate (SAR) from the surface scanned electric field, which basically applies the equivalent theorem and the contour integration form of the Maxwell´s equations. The results confirm that we can obtain the spatial average SAR using the proposed method at a high accuracy level. The estimated spatial average SAR shows a difference of approximately 1% for 10 g compared to the original SAR using a three-dimensional (3-D) calculated electric field
