Abstract :
In this paper, we present a fast algorithm for solving a parabolic partial differential equation (PDE) which is used to characterize MOSFETs. We adopt this fast PDE solver in the numerical solution of a system of coupled ordinary differential equations (ODE), partial differential equations (PDE), and algebraic equations (AE), which arises from the simulation of radio frequency (RF) circuits. A voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) is simulated to verify our methods.
