Abstract
A novel multiplexing technique for interferometric optical fibre sensors is reported in this paper. It makes use of digital electronic image processing techniques to greatly reduce the number of fibre optical devices in the network system. The basic system set-up and phase-retrieval algorithm are described. A computer simulation and preliminary experimental demonstration of system performance are presented
