Abstract
It was found recently that the effect of the nonunidirectional energy exchange at two-wave interaction expands an opportunity of using the cubic photorefractive crystals for application in nonlinear optics. In this work, we show that this effect leads to a rotation of polarization of the weak signal wave after interaction with strong pump wave relative to the signal wave polarization on exit of the crystal in the absence of interaction
