Abstract :
In this paper, a simple and effective coplanar structure has been adopted to suppress harmonics in microstrip antenna element and array based on quarter wavelength microstrip step impedance resonators (SIR). This circuit is more compact than the previous coplanar harmonic rejection structure and can be restrained within one-twelfth wavelength region near to the antenna. It is a valuable technology for antenna design in the future RF front-end system-in-package (SIP)
