Abstract
This paper discusses the design of finite impulse (FIR) filters to simulate the response of an antenna. It was shown that one can use Fourier transform on the available antenna response at discrete frequencies to obtain the filter coefficients. Also, one can improve on the filter design by using a time domain or a frequency domain window function. A frequency domain window function performs better than a time domain window function
