Abstract :
A sliding mode controller for the output voltage of a twelve pulse parallel rectifier with output double LC filter, is developed. The main problem of adapting a sliding mode controller, (which generates a high frequency reference signal) to a slow system, such as a thyristor rectifier, is solved by using a constant frequency sliding mode approach. Experimental and MATLAB simulation results are presented and discussed
