Abstract :
Information technology (IT) plays an important role for the enterprises to create competitive advantage, which has been proved, but many Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) still feel that it is a challenge to succeed in converting IT investments into business value. Haier Group is the leading brand of white goods globally and the most valuable brand in China. Relative Haier Group, Linkage is a SMEs. Comparison with the cases of Haier and Linkage, based on the different corporate cultures, the article presented the different paths and strategies for SMEs from large-scale enterprises in informatization. Namely it is a win-win value chain model.
