Abstract :
E-training has become one of the most important means of human resource development in many industries. However, there are many problems, such as lecture-dominated rather than process-oriented, de-contextualization of training, and the flow of training activities not visualized in the system. The author proposes to use workflow technology to tackle these problems. This paper builds a new training paradigm which is oriented to work process by integrating workflow technology into e-training, and develops workflow-enabled e-training course, activity structure and system architecture to support training. This novel system makes the training more relevant for the trainee, and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of e-training.
