Abstract :
Linux is gaining wide acceptance in the mobile industry as the basis for a mobile middleware platform. It accelerates the increasing visibility of open source software components in mobile middleware platforms. Despite multiple challenges in mobile embedded software engineering, it is crucial to promote open source-aware development in mobile software engineering. The author analyzes three dimensions of open source-aware mobile platform development. The three-dimensional view model provides a basis for enterprise human resource management and strategy development in order to cope with the combined challenge of code management and consortium-based development.
