Abstract
The paper briefly presents the technical and operational details of a series of new sensors and related instrumentation developed by the author and implemented throughout the country to meet the challenging needs of oceanographic investigations taken up by different institutions. Development of sensors with location specific technical features is the basic requirement of successful oceanographic observations. Novel signal processing techniques provide additional data for better analysis and interpretations.
