Spectral hole burning in piezoelectric resonators

Abstract :
The notion of the spectral hole burning phenomena was applied to the piezoelectric resonators. The oscillation characteristics of particles, whose resonant frequencies are coincide with that of the applied electric field, were modified and the traces of pulse shape were left in their absorption spectrum as the hole burning. The plastic deformation was considered as the mechanism of hole formation.
