Abstract
The ERP load balancing problem was studied, and a distributed dynamic scheme named ELBS (ERP Load Balancing Scheme) based on the process scheduling was proposed. By classifying all nodes involved in the system into several different types, the scheme formulated a series of computing rules to schedule the process, and all nodes do their own job collaboratively based on those rules. According to the theoretical analysis, the time complexity of the scheme is the square of the number of nodes. The simulation results show that, the scheme can optimize the performance significantly by balancing the resource load in the whole ERP system relative to the system without any load balancing strategy.
