Abstract
This paper examines certain stability issues associated with voltage fedback, selective harmonic, active filters. The control strategy of the fixed frequency, 3 kHz, three-phase three-wire voltage source PWM inverter used in this active filter is presented. The active filter discussed uses the busbar voltage feedback alone to realise two distinct control modes. The operation of the voltage fedback active filter on AC power systems with low order harmonic resonances is addressed in this paper
