Abstract
People often only see IT artifacts level of material culture and can not see the invisible design of IT architecture. The authors studied socio-materiality convergence of IT architecture and social architecture. The authors argued that from critical realism philosophy, IT architecture and social architecture can be harmony entangled and human become part of what they perform and to be body-in-IT space. This is to say that almost every visible materiality development is aligned with an invisible sociality and entangled to be less visible socio-materiality, and vise versa. The authors also hope IS research can enlarge IT economical appraisal from IT artifact to IT architecture level, and try to revaluate ERP/ERPII performance from architecture design and application convergence.
