Abstract :
Voice restoration techniques for voice communication software are among the most popular for voice communication applications. Previous researches are mainly based on network package analysis, due to the diversity of voice communication software, these methods are just effective for certain kinds of voice communication software and have difficulty in dealing with encrypted voice communication especially. Because each kind of voice communication software needs input and output voice on the sound card of the terminal, we propose a restoration technique based on sound card filter driver. This solution can restore voice data for all kinds of voice communication software, even for encrypted voice communication. To attach to the right driver, we analyze windows audio components by dynamic analysis and static disassembly. In the analysis and restoration of the voice data, we introduce a model of reverse searching. Experimental results and analysis are presented.
