Abstract :
Intelligent transportation system is to apply advanced information technology to realize a large scale of systems integration, which requires a reference architecture to guide the modeling, analysis, design and implementation of systems integration. This paper combines UML modeling technique and systems integration reference architecture in the field of computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) to support the design and implementation of intelligent transportation management system - a pilot project in China. Function, process and information domains are modeled by use of a case diagram, sequence diagram and class diagram, respectively. The relationship among function, process and information domain related to UML is revealed to demonstrate how to describe intelligent transportation management system in an integrative way.
