Abstract
The diffraction of planar linearly and circularly polarized electromagnetic waves by a plane periodic in two directions in a space grating consisting of metal strip chiral elements has been analyzed. The elements of the grating have an S-shape in particular. A microstrip grating and a grating in free space are considered in the work. The polarization properties of the grating have been studied for resonant conditions
