  • Abstract
    A microstrip-fed folded U-shape planar monopole antenna with band-rejected characteristics has been presented in this paper. The antenna features compact size, ultra-wide impedance bandwidth, almost omni-directional H-plane patterns, and fairly good gain-suppression properties at the WLAN band. This antenna may found applications in UWB radio integrations by means of multilayer PCB technology
