Abstract
This paper proposes a novel method for reducing high-frequency leakage current by using a common-mode voltage compensation circuit which is connected in parallel with the inverter circuit. This method is advantageous to the application for large power PWM inverter circuit because the main current of the inverter does not flow into this compensation circuit. The circuit configuration and the principle the high-frequency leakage current suppression are explained, and the effect of high-frequency leakage current suppression is confirmed by simulation and experiments
