  • Abstract
A model predictive control scheme for handling prioritized objectives in a plant under fault influence is presented. The approach is based on the lexicographic multiobjective optimization and uses a model predictive controller with a l1 norm as performance criterion. The effectivity of the scheme is shown on a reverse osmosis plant under different fault cases like actuator saturation and stuck valves. The obtained results are satisfactory which motivates the continuity in the studies of this kind of fault-tolerant control.
