Abstract :
In this paper, the authors suggest a double-side circular disc printed antenna for UWB communications. The calculated and measured return loss less than -10 dB covers 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz. The simulated gain trend is flat and the radiation patterns are approximately omni-directional within the UWB bandwidth. Further more, the return loss less than -20 dB is between 6.57 GHz and 10.31 GHz by improving the feed port, which is very valuable for broadband antennas design
