Abstract :
This work is a case study of global, intelligent power solutions developed for the FAA WAAS (wide area augmentation system) program. Critical issues important to providing and managing critical power are discussed and the solutions provided. Topic areas include major points for consideration when selecting power conditioning or UPS products, discussion on power quality issues and methods for monitoring and controlling the power source and its associated loads.
