Abstract :
In this paper, a compact-size dual-band antenna comprising of two printed meander-line elements on opposite sides of a substrate is proposed. The antenna is simple, low-cost, and has omnidirectional radiation pattern. This antenna resonates with a length shorter than that of a straight-wire monopole or dipole. Characteristics of the antenna, such as radiation pattern, gain, polarization etc., are similar to the monopole. The software HFSS are employed to analyze this dual-band meander-line antenna
