Abstract
The use of a parasitic rectangular slot for the wideband and frequency-tunable dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is studied theoretically and experimentally. The exact DRA Green´s function is used in the formulation. Using the method of moments, the unknown magnetic currents are solved. The voltage standing wave ratio and radiation pattern of the antenna are presented.
