Abstract
Electromagnetic flux-compression generators under development at Loughborough University as part of a project related to unconventional microwave emitters. The present paper outlines a detailed approach to the two-dimensional modelling of these generators. The code developed is an invaluable tool in both designing and understanding the flux-compression experiments.
