Abstract
The notion of ubiquitous computing has enabled the conception of a connected home. The connected home perception is not only about allowing devices to be connected but also about content anywhere and information sharing. Although this is excellent for home user, the security issues that will result from this function has not been addressed by ventures. In this paper we provide a new security framework for home devices that is easier to use, so as to minimise and reduce the security threats identified.
