Abstract
Especially for broadband access services the available footprint for equipment is limited. As a consequence there is an increasing demand for high power density rectifiers that fit into cabinets with small depth. This paper presents the design of a very high power density telecom rectifier. Some ideas to reduce the physical size of the circuits and still maintaining high efficiency at low cost are discussed.
