Abstract :
Videantis presents its scalable v-MP2000 video core family capable of handling multi-standard operability with support for schemes like H.264/AVC, MPEG-4, VC-1/WMV9, and MPEG-2 in cost-sensitive embedded implementations that are mandatory for mobile and home multimedia applications like portable media players, multimedia phones, and digital / IPTV up to HDTV. The live demonstration is based on a 65 nm silicon multi-core implementation and includes a wide range of video decoding and encoding standards up to 1080 p resolution, visual features processing, and image processing library functions.
