  • Abstract
    We achieve an efficient characterization of the scattering of electromagnetic plane waves from antennas and cavities on an infinite ground plane as well as finite arrays. For this purpose the generalized scattering matrix approach is applied as an intermediate step to compute the transition matrix (T-matrix) that provides the scattering characteristics of the scatterers or radiating structures.
