  • Abstract
The scattering problems of general anisotropic 3D objects are studied, using potential formulation and the parametric study. Both ε~ and μ~ are considered and 4 parameters specify the material. The field components are expanded in terms of Hertz-Debye potentials, and both TE/TM (with respect to r&capped;) waves inside/outside the sphere can be derived in series of fractional-order (in real or complex number) Ricatti-Bessel functions. RCS dependence on both single and joint anisotropy is presented and RCS prediction schemes are constructed for absorbing spheres.
