Abstract
In this paper, we report the development of a probe for simultaneous acquisition of NMR and optical fluorescence spectra in vivo. An array of small radio frequency (RF) surface coils will be used with time-domain multiplexing (TDM) in conjunction with multiple fiber-optic probes imaged with a CCD based optical multichannel analyzer (OMA). We demonstrate that an array of coils can be used to tailor the field of view (FOV) of the experiment to a specific region of interest (ROI) without the use of gradients
