Abstract :
A satcom antenna and terminal equipment were exposed to an electric field in the frequency range of 10 kHz-120 MHz in order to establish susceptibility criteria. The measurment revealed the following facts. (i) the parabolic reflector meant to receive signals in the C-band also responds to signals in the 80-100 MHz band. (ii) The baseband sub-system was found to be susceptible in the frequency range of 12-18.5 & 80-100 MHz. (iii) the complete system excluding antenna was found to be susceptible in the range of 80-100 MHz and at 112 MHz
