Abstract
Using the problem of cylindrical wave scattering by a perfectly conducting circular cylinder, it is shown that the conditions of the theorem concerning resolvability of the integral equation arising in the method of auxiliary sources are not necessary in the similar theorem formulated recently for resolvability of the integral equation arising in the null field method.
