Abstract :
The broadband and compact properties of bowtie and Sierpinski patch can be advantageously exploited to design reflectarray. The electrical characteristics of two elements based on bowtie structure that can be used as spatial phase shifters are presented in this paper. The two elements are: a single bowtie patch planted with a varactor, and a bowtie Sierpinski fractal patch planted with a varactor
