Abstract :
Interval analysis and probabilistic method are investigated in this paper for compressive bar´s stable responses with uncertain parameters. According to the set relationships and probability statistics theory, the relationship between above two methods can be analyzed by introducing Chebyshew inequality. Took compressive bar in certain equipment for example, analyzed it with interval analysis and probabilistic method, respectively, the results showed that interval analysis is more reliable than probabilistic method in the cases of less data and incomplete information.
