  • Abstract
    The necessity of interconnection between mobile devices and static grid has grown up. Since the intermittent connection of mobile device is unpredictable, we need a special architecture for providing reliable grid services such as e-health services. In this paper, we introduce a new mobile-to-grid gateway replication (MGR) architecture for improving the reliability of grid services provided to mobile device. In MGR architecture we integrate mobile-to-grid gateway and grid policy quorum based resource management (PQRM) into one compact system. We also proposed a cost-constraints replication algorithm for calculating the optimal number of replication gateways dependent on users´ budget and requirements. The performance of proposed architecture is measured by using numerical experiments and simulation results
