Abstract
In this paper, we propose a dual-band CP square patch antenna for the reception of Global Positioning System (GPS) and satellite digital multimedia broadcasting (S-DMB) signals. This proposed dual-band CP design is achieved by loading multiple slots in the square patch antenna. And one design example is simulated and implemented. Measurement results are also included. First, we summarize the CP antenna and propose a novel slotted square patch antenna. Next, simulation and measurement results for the design example are presented, and a conclusion follows
