Abstract :
The repositioning precision of power tool servo turning gear system is an important index for machine tool performance, the distribution analysis of the return stroke backlash error of the tool holder could provide data preparation for dynamic simulation of the system. The involute cylindrical gear is studied in the paper and the accuracy analysis of the power tool servo turning gear system is carried out. According to the characteristics of the power tool servo and using probabilistic method, the return stroke backlash of single part is studied first, the return stroke backlash of the total device is then obtained.
