  • Abstract
    We introduce a novel proximity-coupled stacked patch antenna to cover all three GPS bands (L1, L2 and L5 bands). The proposed antenna has an aperture size of 1.2" times 1.2" (lambda/8 at the L5 band) and has an RHCP gain greater than 2 dBi over all three GPS bands. Design challenges, corresponding numerical simulations and measurements are presented
